Gayle Gibbons Madeira is an award-winning painter, dancer and choreographer based in New York City. Her paintings are included in numerous private and institutional collections and have been exhibited in galleries in New York City and throughout the United States. Gayle began dancing 37 years ago and attended the prestigious Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College, State University of New York. She has toured extensively as a dancer and choreographer, both nationally and internationally, with a number of ballet and modern dance companies including her own. Madeira won the 2011 U.S. Tango Championship in the salon category with partner Sid Grant and the 2008 U.S. Tango Championship with partner Lexa Roséan.
